"Obama lifts restrictions on abortion funding"

"When we wake up every morning to a deepening financial crisis, it is an insult to the American people to bail out the abortion industry," said Charmaine Yoest, president of Americans United for Life.

"Planned Parenthood is a billion-dollar company and they do not need additional resources to burden the American taxpayer." Read Full Story

Rush Limbaugh on Hannity: Does Rush Want Obama to Succeed?

“President Obama warned Republicans to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh”

"That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today.

In an exchange with Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) about the proposal, the president shot back: "I won," according to aides briefed on the meeting."

"I will trump you on that."

The Truth Will Out

Remember the ridiculous reports of a McCain "adviser" supposedly in the know about Governor Sarah Palin's purported knowledge gaps? The MSM seized on that report as convincing evidence to bolster their hysteria that Palin was totally unqualified (and — horror! — unvetted).

Then you'll be interested to know the rest of that story ... here's a summary of the reality.

Anyone eager to applaud MSNBC's "fact-check" department? No, I didn't think so.

Post-Mortem On Election 2008

Over at WorldNet Daily, Kimberly Fletcher, President and Founder of Homemakers for America, offers an assessment of the election. As a volunteer in the battleground state of Ohio, Kimberly's experience underscores what most of us already knew: Sarah Palin was anything BUT a drag on the Republican ticket ... with all due respect to war hero and failed Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain, Governor Sarah Palin singlehandedly resuscitated a lackluster campaign struggling for its final breaths.

Rich Galen summed it up this way: "McCain was going to lose this race whether Sarah Palin was the VP nominee or ... St. Paul was the nominee."

Ignore the smack the unnamed "McCain staffers" are dishing at Sarah Palin. Conservatives have a bright future and Sarah Palin will no doubt be among those leading the charge. Next time she runs, she won't be carrying someone else's water.

Ignorance Carries A Hefty Cost

I'm not a great fan of Howard Stern, but I appreciated his willingness to air this clip. With the election now part of history, we can look back in amazement at how well-informed some voters were. (Please forgive my sarcasm.)

Thomas Jefferson said it well: "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be."

What more needs to be said?

Obama campaign cuts off WFTV after interview with Joe Biden

"Biden so disliked West's line of questioning that the Obama campaign canceled a WFTV interview with Jill Biden, the candidate's wife.
'This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,' wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign. " Read More

Secret service called on non-Obama supporter

"She asked if I was an Obama supporter, to which I replied, 'No, I don't support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time.' (And then) I hung up."
